John
C. McMurry
has concentrated for more than 30 years on appellate and trial practice,
serving as counsel in numerous officially reported cases.
John has worked with the firm since January 2002.
After graduating from Washington
and Lee
University
(B.A., 1966), he served
as a military intelligence officer, supporting elements of the U.S. Army
Combat Developments Command and Command and General Staff College.
Upon discharge, he entered law school at the University of
Oklahoma (J.D, 1971), where he was a member of the Board of Editors of
the Oklahoma Law Review;
published Note, 23 Okla. L. Rev.
433 (1970). He was also a member of the moot court team which won First Place
in the
Arkansas-Oklahoma-Texas
Region and Third Place
in National Moot
Court Finals.
