Emily Pomeroy

                                         
                                                                                           

           Emily K. Pomeroy works in both litigation and transactional matters, and is especially interested in environmental law.  

            Emily joined the firm after completing her legal education at the University of Oklahoma in 2003.  During a semester of her second year of law school, she clerked in Washington, D.C. for the Department of Justice in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division. A short article about her experience there was published in the fall 2002 issue of Oklahoma Law Alumni Magazine.  

   

            Before attending law school, she received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.  During her junior year, she spent a semester in Berlin, Germany studying at Humboldt Universitat.  She graduated from Bucknell magna cum laude in 1999, with recognition, including Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, the Charles F. White Memorial Award for Excellence in Athletics and Academics, and Most Valuable Player of the Patriot League in Division I Volleyball.  

            Emily is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She serves as secretary of the Legal Assistant Services Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association.  Emily also sits on the board of the Oklahoma City Housing Services Redevelopment Corporation. Emily was born in Oklahoma City and attended Casady School, where she graduated magna cum laude in 1995.
